WOMEN’S FITNESS: POSTNATAL & ADULT
The Women's Fitness program is designed for women in various stages of life. Women experience several changes in their body such as puberty, adolescence, motherhood and adult age. Our program is designed to accommodate physical and lifestyle changes within these stages of women's lives. Our core focus is improving strength, balance and flexibility.
After childbirth, the body undergoes a drastic change. Participating in exercise helps improve energy levels that may be depleted from the demands of child care. Additionally, exercise can boost one's mood and support overall health. The goal of this program is to aid mothers who aim to lose weight after giving birth. It is also designed to tone the body and improve heart health.
The focus of this program is to improve and maintain muscle mass, balance and flexibility. Studies show that bone mass starts to decline after about 30 years of age. Exercise has been shown to maintain bone mass along with a balanced diet. Balance and flexibility also start to decline in adulthood as a consequence of lifestyle and aging. The core focus of the program is introducing exercises that target balance and flexibility. This program is also designed to challenge cardiovascular fitness as part of improving overall health.
